2 Tim 2:8 ...What did Paul want Timothy to remember? Was he asking him to remember that Jesus Christ was the seed of David? That He was raised from the dead? No!!! He wanted him to remember or keep in mind that it was for the purpose that our risen Lord revealed to Paul and told him to preach "my gospel". It was the gospel according to the revelation of the mystery, not according to prophesy. Rom 16:25. It was the revelation of the Body of Christ and not the Kingdom of Israel. It was about salvation without works, Rom 11:6 not salvation with works. Salvation by faith with works is the gospel of the Kingdom and why James insisted that is was not faith alone. That gospel will be preached after the Body of Christ is removed from the earth and the judgment of God begins to be poured out in the 70th week of Daniel, the tribulation. It was kept secret until reveled to Paul, Eph 3:1-5. Not what Christ gave to Peter and the other apostles when Christ was on earth and in Acts 2-3.

If you begin to rightly divide the word of God, you will see this difference and all the seeming contradictions facing the vast majority of Christians today will disappear. 2Tim 2:15

No , not Joel olsteen , I don't think much of him either . He focuses far to much on getting things in this life and being successful in this world . That's just my opinion , sorry if I've offended any one , I'm even sorry if I offended Joel olsteen but I have to say what I believe .
