    in Psalms, who is the chief musician?

    1Chronicles 15:27, 1Chronicles 15:16-22, these were appointed by King David. Note Chenaniah, was referred to as "master of the song" & 1Chronicles 15:22, "he instructed about the song, because he was skillful" an educated guess could lead to guess it could have been him, if this was a Psalm of David & sang during that time. Nehemiah 12:45,46, indicates plural however. 2Chronicles 35:15, 1Chronicles 9:33-34,

    Nehemiah 7:1,44, 2Chronicles 20:21,

    Solomon 2Chronicles 9:11-12

    Hi Craig, I have always thought the Chief Musician was the LORD. But I really do not know for sure.
