what does to confess your faults to one another

Hi Basil. As T. Levis correctly translated 'faults' to apply to 'sins', I'm reminded of Jesus' Words in Matthew 5:22-26. Here the thought is to first be reconciled to your brother & then come to worship, since, how can God accept our worship & praises if there is sin & animosity against another breeding in our hearts. So, 'confession of our faults to one another' is not the penitent sinner revealing his sins to a priest behind a curtain (as some are instructed to believe), but one who knows he has done wrong, or been wronged, makes that error clear before another & admits to his failure, seeking forgiveness. God hears & receives the worship of such hearts made clean through admission & confession.
