Please help me answer the below questions:

    1. According to the Bible, is it a sin for a Christian to wear jewelry?

    2. Is it a sin for Christian Women to put on trousers?

    3. Some Christians in our days are claiming that they died, went to hell and was rescued from hell by Jesus. Is this possible based on scriptures?

    Thank you.

Hello Alfonso! I hope I am able to help, Lord willing, answer your questions.

The answer to your first question is 'no.' It isn't a sin for a Christian to wear jewelry, so long as it is done in moderation. Harlots wore a lot of jewelry and makeup to ''advertise'' who they were in the old testament, but I see nothing wrong with it if done tastefully. God likens true Israel to a bride ( His bride) and mentions jewelry in Ezekiel chapter 16 verses 11-13. If God Himself is fine with it, we should be, also.

The answer to your second question is, again, 'no.' It is not a sin for a woman to wear pants. Some bible thumpers will pull Deuteronomy chapter 22 verse 5 and assume that is what that means, but that pertains to unnatural sexual acts. In other words, a man is not to take the place of a woman in a sexual act and vice versa for a woman. (Leviticus chapter 18 verse 22; Romans chapter 1 verses 26-32) to name some examples.

When The Lord gave His life for us on the cross, He descended into heaven. But, He went to the 'prison' to preach to the souls who didn't have an opportunity to know Him in 1 Peter chapter 3 verses 18-20. To help better understand this, read about 'the gulf' in Luke chapter 16 and 2nd Esdras chapter 7 in the Apocrypha by Edgar J. Goodspeed. Hope all of this has helped.
