I would like you to tell me about the rapture ? an when we can expect that to happen ? Please,.. because I'm kinda confused here , I hear about the rapture from many preachers, but I'm unable to find that in the Bible,.. sn upon reading Ezekiel, chapter 13 , I find it very clear about the punishment for false statements an that he is AGAINST, those who teach there children to fly to save there souls ,.. so please, am I missing something ?

    Thank you

    Glenn,

Do you know who the people of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 are? Is it only the saints, or the saints + Christians.

What's the difference between the 1st fruits and 2nd resurrections?

This topic needs to be better understood.

    Hi Mary ,.. thank you

    No apologies necessary Glenn.

    And welcome to the site,

Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in a viewpoint and we abandon the spirit and walk in the flesh, It's very easy to end up on the wrong side of the work of God,

The Lord didn't tell us to go out and Preach our viewpoints, He told us to abide in him and to teach and preach the Gospel that saves lives. The Holyspirit reveals truth, Believing or disbelieving in the rapture don't give you the Holyspirit, Salvation Does!! Let's help them with that then their eyes may become open to see whether there's a rapture or not. Apart from the spirit we can't reach NO ONE. The natural man know not the things of God, Let's sow the seed and let God give the increase. Then they will be able to Hear. If you hold the truth that is the way you got it.

    God bless you.

    Glenn,

There is a phrase used in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and it is the phrase "caught up." The Greek word got that phrase is HARPADZO which is the same as caught up. It means to be snatched away or seized by force. It does not mean that we "fly away."

In fact, this "caught up" is going to happen so fast that we're not even going to know what happened.

The word rapture comes from the Latin word Raptus. But it all means the same thing.
  • Dianne - In Reply - 2 years ago
Glenn The word rapture is not in the bible it is the resurrection of the body of Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 also 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 both of these events are one in the same, known as the Hope of the return and no one knows that one it is in Gods timetable. 2 Thessalonians 2:1 is what the Bible calls the gathering together unto him. Like so many other things man came up with rapture. God Bless

    Dianne,

How could man have possibly string together such Biblical hyperbole to cause many to believe a false narrative? A "rapture" creates incentive to go Christian. What possesses people to accept the notion that they are like saints, and can jump ahead in line? I never trusted this theory.
  • Dianne - In Reply - 2 years ago
Phillip Paul in the epistles addresses the believers as saints those God separated out of the darkness of this world and into the glorious gospel of redemption and salvation. We are called this in all the church epistles, I'll believe what God Says

    Phillip Parsons,

I'm glad you mentioned this. From my experience, a Christian will latch on to ideas presented to them, take ownership of the ideas, and made it part of their world view. Removing this concept is not easily done, as the mind refuses to let go.

This happens in many religions and spheres of life, and students may feel special for their "knowing", and never look back their whole lives.

Does it matter we study ourselves and get it right: Yes.

    Hi Glenn,

Thanks but no thanks Glenn, but you want find anything here that it seems you already heard.

You presented that question like an invitation to War.

    I pray I'm wrong.

    God. bless.
  • Glenn - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Hi spencer ,.. apologies

No wars , an no " I know more than you " intentions. It scares me on how many good Christian people, believe in Easter , rapture, an of course the apple. My first time here , an my intention was to see if there's an agenda, or a wizard of oz behind the curtain. I truly wish to share , an warn of false teachings, an try to help, share , an show anyone that is willing to dig deep , into truth.

    Sincerely

    Glenn

would like to find a verse of scripture that say's God ordained the devil to be prince of this world?
  • Dianne - In Reply - 2 years ago
Leroy I don't see in the bible where satan was ordained to that position but I do see where he stole it, Gen. 3:1-6 which is where Adam and Eve were tricked the power and authority was given him. Look at Luke 4:5+6. Also Jesus Christ in John 10:9 summoned up the adversaries intentions, steal kill destroy. Then the deliverance our Saviour next verse I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.

On the kingjamesbibleonline.org, in the search words or phrases box, type prince of this world KJV and several verses will come up. The first one I saw was John 12:31 "Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out."
  • Chris - In Reply - 2 years ago
Jesus referred to Satan as the "prince of this world": John 14:30 and John 16:11. I guess if the Son of God spoke this of him, then all of Heaven recognizes him as such; at least for a while until his power & influence are finally withdrawn & he is locked away for eternity.

Hello, satan is called a god of the world: 2 Corinthians 4:4. Notice the little g for false god.
