First of all, the word rapture doesn't exist in bible scripture! What makes us better then Jesus? He suffered for us! We will be here in flesh until the very end. First anrichrist will come saying he is god. Some of us will face him and his bad angels. Read all of Revelation= " to reveal". There is scripture saying God is against this so called fly away doctrine= "Rapture theories! If we are in front of antichrist; we are not to think about what we will say. God will speak threw you. These fallen spirits will freak out. Yes, he will come back with 144,000 of the tribes of Israel, those that once were alive themselves. Some of us are from the 12 tribes and still living in flesh. I will find the scripture against the fly away doctrine, and get back to you quickly!

Hello, 1 Thessalonians 4:17 clearly says Jesus will come and people will be caught up with Him in the air. That's what the Bible says, whether someone wants to deny it or believe it.

It appears some are trying discredit the Word of God for some unknown reason. Have you prayed about this? Why do you not believe 1 Thessalonians 4:17 and why do you call something in the Bible just a 'theory'?

The same old logical fallacy that a word isn't in the Bible therefore something isn't true has been debunked countless times, but we can do that again. The word "Bible" isn't in the Bible either, so does that mean the Bible isn't the Bible? Using the same fallacy, the letter J didn't exist in the English language hundreds of years ago, so does that mean Jerusalem, Jews, and even Jesus didn't exist?

The Bible didn't mention for years whether Jesus ate food. Does that mean he was starving to death?

The Bible never used any words to describe if Jesus ever took a bath. Does that mean He never did?

The word 'bathroom' or 'restroom' or 'toilet' isn't even in the Bible, so does that automatically mean no one ever went to the 'bathroom' ever, including Jesus?

I think those are enough examples to debunk the already debunked claim that the word ____ isn't in the Bible therefore something isn't true. Pray and ask God with an open heart for wisdom and truth as we read the Bible.

Christian I have no idea the point of your comment on this websight. Either were here to encourage and inspire or it goes south from there James 3:13-17.

    Ray,

The 1st resurrection = 144k saints from great tribulation live

The 2nd resurrection = Everyone else lives

    Ray,

I speak the same language as you. I learned from reading the Bible, not from someone telling me what to think. I like to prove and reprove my Bible stories. When I tell my rapturist friends that they are not the elect, they literally melt. Some have come around to tell me how far fetched a rapture was, like Tom Cruise accepting the volcano aliens. Jesus describes the 'day of the Lord' where the "taken" are devoured by vultures; they aren't "raptured", they are dead. Jesus is not a game show, He's not giving away supernatural prizes. Why would God take billions above the 144k saints?

In the 50's, doctors would recommend smoking to their patients. It's easier to fool someone than to convince them they've been fooled. Post your "fly-away doctrine".
