To stop acting the way you were before you were born again and to walk by the Spirit and not act according to the flesh, and to walk in the love of God toward each other and all men. Just something to consider Phil. 4:8. They were fighting each other in the church.
1 Corinthians 16:13 says, "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."
That little phase "quit you like men" is literally one Greek word that means be a man. It's associated with courage!
If you remember what God told Joshua, in Joshua Chapter 1 Verses 8 through 11? He said "Be of courage Joshua for I am with you wherever you go." It's not a human courage. It's a spiritual trust that no matter what, we can face anything in life because Christ is there.
