    Sister Denise.

1 John 2:15-17. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

John 15:18-19. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 17:14-16. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

    2 Peter 3:10.

Sister Denise thank God for Jesus who will redeem us who believe in him and his work on the cross from the destruction that come upon all the Earth.

    God bless.

It's great to know Fort Worth has a prayer warrior on call, there. I put in 23 years with DPS (non-commissioned). I live in Hutto/Round Rock area. Like you, in a nice Seniors only complex. There are many Christians living here. It's nice to see the parking lot full, Sunday afternoons with visiting children and their families.

If it's not too hot, a little troop takes some laps around with our coffee in hand. Sitting too much isn't good at all.

I posted a sign near the mailboxes with this websites google address, so they can visit on days when it's too hot to go outside.

In the fall, we start weekly Bible Studies in the Main Building. It's much like this comment room. We share things that we are studying in the Bible and then open it up for comments. No one shouts, :D. We just agree to study a bit deeper.

There isn't anyone leading the group. When the hour is up, we pray and Agee in prayer with those that have prayer requests. We're praying for salvations of children, people who are sick and can't get out, and everything in between. The hour goes real fast. People call each other during the week. Sometimes we meet at the gazebo to watch the sun set.

There's bingo, sewing group (they make things for people), people with dogs walk together sometimes. If anybody is out sitting on the front porch, you can just drop in a bit to visit and say howdy.

It just takes one disciple of Jesus to encourage others to join in. Some have gotten slick new scooters and they zip around all over the place.

I'm totally against people feeling separated and lonely because they are older and need "watching over". We can choose to be happier and share all that stored up wisdom with others. It feels strange at first but then that changes as we see others enjoying iced tea and giggles on the front porch.

Keep coming back. It helps us to pray with others as we see why others drop in here for conversation and sharing. Disagree and agree too. Sharpening iron :)

ALL Praise to our ALMIGHTY EL YAHUAH in HIS EVERLASTING RUACH HA'QODESH n HIS ETERNAL TRUTH. Our soon coming KING YAHUSHA HA'MASCHIACH. Happy to see your love for THE WORD and your desire to share. Reminds me of when I was a Christian. Have you ever looked at the Hebrew of the Bible? A great way to share with friends and family is to share the Sacred Names of our Heavenly FATHER YAHUAH "I AM HE WHO BREATHES LIFE" "BEHOLD THE NAILED HANDS" and HIS MESSIYAH KING YAHUSHA HA'MASCHIACH means "YAH is SALVATION" "THE ANNOINTED" Proverbs 30:4-6 Regarding helping women are they limited to your neighborhood or Internationally? One idea is to help Widows. They may need someone to simply talk with or make care packages for them. If in your Budget or could look into grants. Maybe help with groceries. Orphans are always in need. Prayerfully my suggestions spark your curiosity. Do you have any question about a recent Bible verse you read online or would like to share?
