What are characteristics traits needed to be a prayer warrior today as it relates to prayer?

    Hi Willie,

Humility and faith, which is given to believers by the Holyspirit,

    and pray with out ceasing.

Not anything we build up to.

What I'm saying YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED IN YOU TO PERFORM SUCH PRAYER!!!

Romans 8:26-27. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

    it's not a special office.

It's in the verse you mentioned:

James 5:17. ELIAS WAS A MAN SUBJECT TO ( LIKE PASSIONS AS WE ARE,) and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Sometimes our flesh can take us out of the spirit and we think we can manifest something into motion by a super duper prayer. There's extremes to this that can hinder,

Some think you must eventually speak in tongues

Some must see someone slain in the spirit.

Jude 1:18-20. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, PRAYING IN THE HOLY GHOST,

    GOD BLESS.

    Willie,

I don't think there is no such thing as a prayer warrior in scripture,

Just be humble and that's enough,

    God resist the proud.

There are and have always been Godly men & women who have truly been "prayer warriors". They are God's children who spend many hours down on their knees before the Lord praying and seeking God for answers to prayer, for guidance for our nations leaders, for their unsaved loved ones, neighbors and fellow workers, yes even for revival. They are people that are known that will pray when anyone calls them with a request because they know that that person will stop what they are doing and go to the Lord 8in prayer even if they do not who that person is. A prayer warrior knows how to touch the heart of God, and He knows who everyone of them are. A prayer warrior has a deep seated burden to see the hand of God move. My friend it takes more than just humility to move the hand of God. It takes prayer, not a five minute a day prayer, prayer that drives you to your knees every day, twice a day, three times a day, whenever you feel the Spirit of God touching your heart to pray, you pray. A prayer warrior doesn't need a reason, for there are reasons enough all around us every day that should prompt us to lay before the God of heaven and earth for its many needs. The closer we come to His coming, the more prayer warriors we need to intercede for the lost and dying of this world. The Bible may not use the term "prayer warrior", but it sure give us many examples of them throughout the old and the new testament. The Bible doesn't use the term "rapture" either, but we all know there is going to be one. The church is not filled with them, but you can count on one or two of them sitting in your congregation, unnoticed, quiet, possibly unknown. But in their home they have a place where they meet their Lord on a regular basis, anytime day or night, they storm His throne room as often as they can, sometimes it's just to sit at His feet and praise Him and soak in His boundless love for the.

Yes, my friend.................there are "prayer warriors" all over the world.

    Hello.

I believe the question was What are characteristics traits needed to be a prayer warrior today as it relates to prayer?

Not do they exist, and yes we do humble ourselves when we come to the Lord.

and no it's not a special office. Whether you call it prayer warrior or one who prays it's all the same, We pray in the spirit and let the Lords will be done.

James 5:17. Elias was A MAN SUBJECT TO LIKE PASSIONS AS WE ARE, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain:

A " Prayer warrior " is a man subject to like passions as any one else who prays.

There is no partiality between the two.

That shouldn't be offensive unless you give it some merit.

Anything we do for the Lord has to be done through the Lord,

Any gift we have has to be given by the Lord, and those gifts differ.

Prayer is what we're all asked to do. If you want to call it prayer warriors, then we're all prayer warriors.

You can't get merit for it by attaching warrior to it when you're praying in the spirit.

Romans 8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And by the way it haven't been a war in the Bible by God's people that God haven't won himself. In fact if they went to war with out him behind them, they lost!!

God is warrior, we put on the Amour and let him fight the battle.

This is why I mentioned humidity.

    God bless.

Prayer Warrior is an old expression that I grow up with. My focus point is concerning the prayer of faith avail much. So how or what characteristics traits according to the reading of the book James, will get us to this level of prayer?
