Please pray for my family to be united in love and not divided.

Also. If I cannot remember every sin to ask for forgiveness,

what happens to me.

Will I eventually not go to heaven or am I taking this scripture to literal?

If Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior then all your past present and future sins have been forgiven(even the ones you cannot remember.Live in gratitude of your undeserved salvation by obeying Scripture. We all come short of the glory of God until we will be made perfect on the Day of His appearance.

I had this same question once before and this is what the Lord gave me: ask God if there is any sin that you have forgotten to ask forgiveness or need to repent for, to bring it to light so that you can. I also used to pray Psalms 139:23-24 which says, "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

The Word of God is literal about sin. The only thing that will keep you from going to hell is refusing to take Jesus as your Savior--that is, ask Jesus to forgive our sin, repent, and you shall be washed clean. And when you sin after being saved, just ask Jesus to forgive you, and He will.
