First of all, if you are lost, you need to be born again by confessing your sins and repenting. Sometimes that is all it takes to break a bad habit. Sometimes you must put legs on your prayers--that is, you cast your need on Jesus and take steps to improve a situation. Your prayer is one of those kinds of prayer. Join AA, talk with a clergyman, do whatever it takes to stop drinking, because, in the end, with Jesus's help, the key to sobriety is in your hands alone. The choice is yours.
