Herein there is no where the churches of our time have erred more greatly and especially in these United States. So far from condescending to men of low estate the desire of most gravitates toward those who are prestigious, and socially prominent. Thus for the most part only the well to do are in found the prominent places of leadership in our churches here. this is in total contradiction of how it ought to be which is made so clear by St. Paul that it is the POOR, who are richest in faith, while the wealthy of this world being naturally greedy are most often oppressors! Therefore it is wise to CONDESCEND to men of low estate. Make sure poor folk are on our pulpit committees, our Church boards, and our board of directors, rather then to only be catering to the rich herein. The poor are not nearly as dumb as we seem to think, and if that means we must downsize than that is exactly what needs to be done. Who are we out to please? God or Man?!
