    Earl,

Jesus' death and resurrection had no impact on the earth or the heavens. However, the daily sacrifice, ritual was taken away. It's only after the 1,000 years do we see a new earth and a new heaven.

    Dear Brother Earl,

We sure do have different interpretations of the same Bible....not saying you are wrong or right, just disagreeing with your assumptions.

I stated scripture that says God's law will stay in affect until the earth and heavens pass, and I stated the earth and heavens HAVE NOT passed yet....

You said: WHY HASN'T IT PASSED? And you listed the following scripture:

    Rev:21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;

The ending of this verse ends with: and there was no more sea.

We still have the seas...all the body's of water oceans etc. are still here!

If you continue reading Rev: 21:2-4

2And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

People on this earth are still dying, still crying, still in pain.....

We are still waiting for the Prophesy written about by apostle John in Revelation.....

    God Bless

Brother Dan, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

The old heaven and the old earth are symbols of the Old Covenant. The new heavens and new earth are symbols of the NEW COVENANT. The sea is also symbolic of:

Revelation 17:15 .... The waters (seas) which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea (remember Abraham was told the people would be as the sand of the sea), and I saw a beast rise out of the sea (multitude of peoples).....

WE all start our lives under the power of the prince of the air (Satan; serpent of the sea).

Isaiah 27:1 ....even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

Revelation 21:1 ...and there was no more sea (Satan was defeated at Christ resurrection ,the NEW Covenant.

Revelation 21:3 ...Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men....

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and the SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLETH IN YOU?

1 Corinthians 15:55 O Grave where is thy victory? Accomplished at the NEW COVENANT.

Revelation 1:3 .....for the time is at hand....Fulfilled at Christ death and resurrection.

Hebrews 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet..... But now we see not YET all things put under him.

We are in the DAY OF THE LORD. One day; that hasn't been completed YET.
