God did. If you read through the Geneologies from the Old Testament through to Jesus's birth in the New Testament:
You will see that through Mary's and Joseph's Geneology, that the bloodline of Jesus Christ was carefully recorded in the pages of the Bible.
Before Genesis, and the marriage of Adam to Eve, the bloodlines that would bring Jesus forward to Bethlehem; was prophesied and spoken many times.
You can Google CHARTS to view with Jesus. There's scads of charts so be sure it matches what is recorded in the King James Bible.
