Does God love us more than those who came before us? From Pentecost to now, have we become more holy or more worthy that we should be spared from what all the believers in Christ had to endure that came before us? The body of Christ in the past have been stoned, beheaded, crucified, impaled and dipped in oil, lit as lamps along roadsides, burned at the stake, fed to lions, killed by gladiators, and tortured beyond imagination. Inflicted by kingdoms, empires, and countries throughout history even by the Roman Catholic Church, and is still going on. Do we think the end times will be worse than they have had to endure?

Why should the last generation be spared? "Take heed that no man deceive you"!

The great tribulation and the wrath of God, are not the same thing. We will be spared the wrath of God, but we have been promised tribulations, the wrath of God is after the second coming of Christ when there is no more repentance.

Acts.14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

1 Thessalonians 3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

Matthew 24:21,29 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

    Out of love, Ron
