I was reading through the book of Genesis and this question came to my mind, "Is God a male or a female?" though it says in Genesis 'Chapter 1' that God created man in His own image and likeness I still have doubts.

Hi Deborah, God is referred to as He throughout the Bible, never 'she'. Being made in likeness doesn't necessarily mean gender. What might be the source of your doubts?

    Hi Adam

Actually we had a class and we were to discuss what do we think God is. Everyone had different perspective to what God is to them so when I read Genesis I was aroused to ask this question. Thankyou very much!

To Deborah Kuradal on Romans 8: God is perfect in masculinity. Jesus called Him His Father. Jesus even said, "Who is my mother, or by brother, or my sister...but they who do the will of My Father. God is not a man that He should lie. He is our Creator and God. Thank you Heavenly Father! Holy to the LORD!

God...is God!!! Jesus came as a Man....and the Holy Spirit is Spirit....God is referred to MANY times throughout the Word as Father....as God, Jesus, and the Spirit are three in one...God is not a God of confusion...that is the devil....God is obviously of the masculine type!! The angels also were of masculine type....God only made mankind!!! Two types...one man.....then out of man made He women...
