What is the glory of Gods Grace??????

    Steve,

Ephesians! I think of superlatives like Ephesians 3:20-21 Now unto him that is able to do EXCEEDING, ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Here, the opening verses 3-14 enumerate spiritual blessings IN CHRIST.

Verse 6 has this phrase, "To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted IN THE BELOVED."

It ties into vss 12 & 14 "the praise of His glory."

This is all about the richness and vastness of God's marvelous Grace. Grace that He has bestowed on unworthy sinners. Think of it: He does NOT give us what we rightly deserve AND He freely gives us what we in no way deserve. He did not do that for the angels that sinned. This is Grace that glorifies God, a God that keeps the promises He has made over the millennia. Later Paul explains the mystery (used 6 times) that is now revealed to the principalities and powers through the church! Ephesians 3:9-10.

There's a song that my mother sang many decades ago that ends with these lines:

Holy. Holy. Is what the angels sing

And I expect to help them make the courts of heaven ring

But when I sing redemption's story, angels fold their wings,

For angel never felt the joy that my salvation brings.

    Hope this helps.
