Immediately upon submitting ones life to Jesus, and acknowledging His death as the ultimate sacrifice for our dastardly sins; in that nanosecond our names are written in the Lambs Book Of Life. Jesus immediately sends His Spirit to live and dwell in us.

There is nothing we can do or say that will cause the Lord to send His Spirit upon us.

It is a "free gift!" We can't earn it. Then the Spirit would be categorized as "Good Works!"

Absolutely not! When Christ cried out in John's gospel, "It is finished" The sin debt was paid in full!! We did zero to earn the gift of salvation: just as we do nothing to prove to God we are now ready for His Spirit. Positively in error...

You are actually in error. You are proclaiming submitting to the Lord gets your name in the book of life but this is wrong. When they asked Peter what they needed to do to be saved he plainly told them "repent". If you would like to talk further about it we should start here.

Can we believe that Jesus knows who will be faithful until the end? We run this life of faith in this hope, that we too may finish this life with our names written safely in the Lamb's Book of Life. So we encourage, so we run!

Acts 2:38, according to Matthew 10:5-7 is for the Lost sheep of the house of Israel; and first Corinthians 15: verse 3, and 4, are for the Gentiles. Take a look, and let me know what you think.

Acts 10:44-48. It was also to the Gentiles sir. Water baptism in Jesus name. And they received the Holy Ghost by Peters teaching.
