How can I Pray for a change of actions when i know in reality that my prayer will not be answered? What was put into place weeks ago by others or God are in place right? ex. someone dying, job loss with layoffs. I know someone would answer with this is what faith is but i feel like it is a useless prayer, or it is way to come to terms with the situation. Please explain

You have to trust in God ,just because a situation seems unfavourable to you doesnt mean that it is ,God knows all things from ever lasting to ever lasting ,whatever is going on in your life you must trust that God will put you where you are supposed to be according to his purpose for you ,pray for His mercy and for His will to be done in your life ,He always knows what and where is best for you better than you yourself do .

Thank you for your reply. I found 1 Peter 5:6-7 during my studies today. and I'm reading a book on Romans 8:28 I just wish man would not blindside me or hint at unknown outcomes.

Hi Georganna, Here's another scripture that go along with those you already have, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. God does answer, I think often we try to muster up faith for our request but we take our eyes off God's Attributes, God is Love, God is Mercy, God is Justice, ect. We can put our faith in him and who he is and he will do his will which is always the best thing for us. I hope that helps

Thank you, it's just the waiting to see what will happen (the eleventh hour) and not knowing what to prepare for next.

If God gave me this purpose, why is man interfering. I truly do trust the Lord! It's like Hospice patients you wish they weren't dying but it's the natural path so you resolve that fact and you make them comfortable and wait.
