I don't understand why people want to condemn others who believe in God a certain way. We all worship the same God. There is only one true God and only one way to God. Through His Son Jesus Christ. Who was a free gift from our Father to pay for our sins. Having faith and giving yourself to Jesus Christ is the most important thing.

There is only one God our Father. Should we not honor the Son as we honor the Father? Like we're told. Does not Jesus Christ have all the power and authority of the Father? Given to Him by the Father. I myself don't believe Jesus Christ is God the Father but that the Father is in Him and He in the Father. I also believe in the deity of Christ that He was with the Father before He came to earth. Like He says. Can I explain all this? No. That's what I believe and it all came to me through the Holy Bible.

A couple verses showing God the Father is not Jesus Christ:

Matthew 26:39 And He went a little further, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

John 8:17-18, 17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

18 I am one that bear witness of Myself, and the Father that sent Me beareth witness of Me.

Hebrews 5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, today have I begotten thee.

Hebrews 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us

( 2 Peter 1:17-18, 17 For He received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to Him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the holy mount.

Why can't some believe in two, plus the Holy Ghost, which is three in this new covenant? One God.

What was the purpose of writing this message? We all know that there is one God. We should never debate the Godhead. Only through the Holy Spirit can it be shown the Oneness of God rather than a triune God that most people believe in this world. This is just one example why we have over 200 denominations under the umbrella of Christianity. Having over 200 denominations is not of God. There is only 1 truth. Jesus is the head of the church. How did we get to this place? Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus --- This was created by man's wisdom.

Note: Water can exist in three forms: Solid, liquid and gas. What is common among these forms -- They all contain 2 hydrogens and 1 oxygen. But we don't call them by different names. Why? Because its still water.

Another example --- The disciples in the book of Acts baptized in the name of Jesus Christ; this fulfilled the scriptures that Jesus told them to baptize in the 'name' of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit..... What name should we baptize in? The 12 disciples who became apostles baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Is this a coincidence? No. The Holy Spirit revealed to them the Oneness of God. When you're not baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, your sins have not been remitted (forgiven).

    Hello,

Mainly because it makes me feel bad when people condemn each other over this. Do you find anything false in it? So my post is an example of why there are 200 denominations in Christianity? Well I guess you can blame it on me. If anything I posted offended you, forgive me my brother. I apologize.

I was not offended by your words. I'm saying there are over 200 denominations in Christianity because of the many beliefs that people have and that causes the division in the body of Christ. As followers of Christ, we are to sharpen one another in the word of God without strife or division. 'Iron sharpers iron'. When you have some time, please read over the following scriptures: John 1:1-14, 1 Corinthians 2:6-16. Be blessed.

    Hello brother,

I'm glad to hear that. So at 200 denominations I really could not even grasp at all the differences. I totally agree with you in being followers of Christ and to help sharpen each other in the Word of God without strife or division. Also that there is only one truth. Have you ever had a conversation with someone who has different beliefs than you? I have and always try to be respectful. Sometimes it is better to just back off as others may not agree and have their own view. As even some of my dear brothers, probably most, on here do not agree with me on a thing or two. This does not bother me because I love them and as they are my brothers in Christ I could not ask for anything else.

    God Bless you.

My comments wasn't meant to offend you but sometimes it's best to hear someone else point of view instead of taking offense to it. I don't argue the word of God. I pray the Holy Spirit brings revelation of the truth of God's word to you.

    Be blessed.
