    I was saved many many years ago but sense then i have done some sinning. I asked god every day for forgiveness but I do not know if that is good enough. I am trying to live right. I do not do the things I use to do ive been clean now for 6 years. I have forgiven everyone who has ever did me wrong. I have forgiven the 2 boys that murdered my little brother 25 years ago. It took me a very long time to do so but I know god says we have to forgive and i did I will never forget what they did but I forgive them. I just want to know I am saved again I want to fill what everyone else feels in their hearts when they get saved.. What do I need to read or do to make sure I am saved. I am a child of god he is my only reason for being here. I want to make sure I am ready for when he comes. please help me please pray for me that I find the right verse or verses I need thank you

    Hello. I hope you find these verses helpful in your questions.

    If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are saved. You cannot lose your salvation.

    Romans 3:23...For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

    2 Timothy 2:15...Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    Read the KJV Bible, pray, and go to Church.

    Ephesians 4...21..If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22.That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23.And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24.And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25.Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26.Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27.Neither give place to the devil.

    If you're truly sorry, God has already forgiven you. But it's also important to forgive yourself. If you were already saved years ago there's no need to be saved a second time; that's what Jesus died on the cross for.
