I opened the book of Isaiah, and read Ch 1:1-31, the 31 verses on page 1. How do I get this site to display page 2 starting with v. 32?

How do I go from page to page? Thank you!

When you first enter the website you will first see TWO search boxes.

Pick the top one if you want to search a subject like "water baptism" or anything else that interests you.

Use the 2nd search box to read a particular book and chapters. You will see above the website Bible these symbols: < or >, to go to the next page or to go backwards.

The Books of Isaiah (& Joshua, which you enquired about) have only those verses in the chapters you mentioned. After the last verse you see, you will need to continue to read the Book in the following chapter(s). Are you asking this because you have seen more verses associated with these chapters? Unless you have manuscripts pre-12th Century, it would be impossible to get a Bible without chapters & verses.

Thank you very much, Mishael & Chris. Sometime later, I too realized that I had come to the END of the chapters!! The only option was to proceed to the next chapter.

I happen to have a hardback version of NRSV: if I had only gone to another room to check it, I would have realized my mistake!
