In the Pacific Ring cultures there is tale of mans earlier days when "The sky and the Earth were the same color, there was day and there was night but no Sunlight shown upon the Earth. (Catastrohpe results, sky was laden with dust/debris clouds for years) And a whole genration was born, lived, and died without ever seeing the sun. So the children of these past generations when one day the clouds finally began to dissipate, saw sunlight for the first time and believed they witnessed a new creation. "And God separated the heaveans from the Earth (made a firmamanet) and it was morning and it was night the first day". Make a bit more sense?

    Yester Vue,

Interesting thoughts on the days of creation.

Many believe that the light that was upon the earth for the first three days of God's creative work was the light of God Himself. As the sun, moon, and stars, were not created by God until the fourth day.

I mean no offense. In both of these comment rooms past history, are close to 200 pages that are able to be read by everybody.

Genesis has been discussed almost every day. Plenty of good reading available!!!

There are some scriptures that can be interpreted as Pre-Adamic. I think personally, that if The Godhead wanted to fully reveal Bible vs Archaeology plus science; God would have written a Book in the Bible about it. He didn't. We must accept His reasons.

The Entire Bible is about Jesus Christ: Beginning to the Ending. I CAN wait till I get to heaven to attend that class on the mysteries of creation to Revelation.

What does any of that have to do with someone being born again; trusting in Jesus to save their souls And take them to heaven??

The Gospel is about the Son of God. He is known as the Son of Man. That is who we are to Follow. Clearly, God loves all the sciences! He left plenty for us to discover and investigate; find and show to others. He made ALL of this. That's what Romans 1 is all about.

We are to rest in the LOVE of the Savior of mankind: believe in him, trust in him and be born again so we can go where He is. He knows you have questions. Learn patience and you will surely get all the answers to your questions.

In my personal experience, if I have a question: I ask the Holy Spirit and He answers them. It takes RELATIONSHIP to hear His Voice. I was dum as a sheep until I got completely wrapped up in the Holy Spirit. Every day, reading my Bible, being still before His Presence; and asking a million questions.... I fall deeper in love with Him every day!!

Do we fail and disappoint the people we live with (sorta like sin?) We have to apologize immediately so we can go on to other things without grudge bearing. Relationship goes through rocks sometimes. Climb over and get to the good stuff.

    Mishael,

It may be that the book of Genesis is discussed every day on this web site is because people care about and are curious of the topics that are covered.

The first mention of the Messiah (Jesus, our Lord and Savior) is in Genesis 3:15, and contains the main reason why He was sent; to defeat death which is the Devil.

God did write a book explaining creation, it can be found in Genesis. It is our choice to believe it or not. What I can say for certain is that the Bible is not at odds with Archaeology. Nor is the Bible at odds with science; those issues are left for man, and usually come up between believers and non-believers. The book of Genesis and the Bible as a whole, reinforces Archaeology as well as all the rules of science.

There is no problem to anybody if YOU want to wait until you get to heaven to find out the things you are less interested in concerning Scripture. But why should you care if someone wants to talk about creation?

If the main topic you are concerned with is being born again, that topic is also discussed every day on this web site without any issue.

It seems as though a few of the "regulars" on this site feel the need to monitor and police the various comments; and then offer their righteous evaluation of other peoples' misinterpretations.

We all have a right to comment without condemnation....

Various cultures have their own 'record' of these beginnings & of natural or supernatural phenomena that took place. However, in the 'tale' you have shared here, the problem with this (apart from being something not included in the Bible, in Moses' writings), is that when God created the heavens & earth & brought in light to dissipate the darkness, He did it before he made mankind.

So if this culture you mentioned say that generations were born & died experiencing this phenomena, then the Bible would refute this account as being impossible as man did not exist at that time. But if you are of the belief that there was a separate creation of humankind prior to Adam & Eve (as some believe), then that would be speculation only without biblical or historical basis to back it up.
