    Mark 2:27

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

    Matthew 12:8

For the Son of man is LORD EVEN OF THE SABBATH DAY.

    Mark 2:28

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

    Luke 6:5

And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Clearly The Lord is saying that HE IS the Lord of the Sabbath. If you will scour the NEW TESTAMENT on the Sabbath, you will quickly see that Jesus not only healed people on the Sabbath; He preached to thousands on the Sabbath.

The Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes all banded together to destroy Jesus for it, too.

What kind of people call themselves Christian followers of Jesus and lead others to believe we Get To Debate which day of the week is the Sabbath?

How very hastily we walk the wide road into Apostacy. Or, loss of reward at The Bema Seat Judgement of Christ: where there will be rewards or loss of rewards?

Jesus says clearly that He alone is the Lord of the Sabbath. We follow Jesus; not what the world, or other religions teach.

Didn't Jesus pay enough for us to believe what he said and did?

Why don't we dig into the scriptures of what Apostacy is? I've never seen that one debated in here. It's about knowing the right things to do or just walking away from it altogether.

Don't email because this subject is closed, for me, for now.

It's good for Christians to ask questions like about the sabbath and discuss it. To me that's part of trying to optimize their live to avoid sin and please the Lord. That shows they care about doing what's right. Christianity (following Christ) is an active pursuit which involves behavior modification, growth, and trying to serve others to the best of our ability. Some of this is trial and error, discovering our gifts, and asking questions. So, questions and respectful discussions are welcomed. I think studying the scripture and asking questions more likely leads to strengthening faith. God bless.

I gotta tell you a bit about me. I grew up in a non church family but my Mom had faith in Jesus and God. She told me whatever brought me closer to God was what I should follow. I liked the Mormon Church when that is all I knew. I went to investigate those who they spoke sooo against. I learned it was in my belief not all correct. I studied with Buhdism for a bit and that was a road to no where but self. I tried other churches and when my MOm died I asked God to show me the truth about death. I got an invitation in the mail literally for seminars about what the Bible says. Changed my whole idea that I was just not like anyone else I knew. I was really talking to God believe it or not. When I was 6 I stayed at my teacher's house until we could all get back under one roof after the fire that stopped the abortion of my baby sister but that's another story.
