Hello my brothers and sisters! Really just felt to leave a comment here for the good of everyone. So as only being with the Lord for just over a year, my life has changed drastically for the best. By a power not of my own. Last year I just wanted truth and was led to the Bible. As the OT is where my reading started. There were many things of wisdom and things that just felt a bit off. Reading about God with his mercy and goodness was great. Eventually I thought "what's in the NT"? So beginning to read there it was obvious it was all/mostly about Jesus Christ. I think it was when reading John and Jesus telling his disciples His new commandment of "love one another". Knowing in my heart this was the truth and what we all need. Right then I began pouring my heart out to Jesus Christ and our Eternal Father in prayer. Well, it was only one week later that the Lord came to me with a marvelous experience. As I'm sure all of you have wonderful accounts of when the Lord came to you in your lives. Again, since then, after receiving the Holy Spirit, my life changed in many ways toward the Will of God. It is very true, as I have found, that the KJV Bible is the best. As reading through the Bible in my possession, NAV, and checking with KJV, it is clear that many things have been removed or changed. Not just different translation. As the Holy Bible is a very important book I find it just a stepping stone on the way to the Lord. As the Word of the Lord is still there it may very easily confuse some people. As why we truly need the Holy Spirit to guide us to the truth. Also as we need to stick together and just converse about things as this site, a Blessing, is great for. God Bless you all my brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

John Fawcett- "Bless Be the Tie"

Blest be the tie that binds Our hearts in Christian love; The fellowship of kindred minds Is like to that above.

Before our Father's throne, We pour our ardent prayers; Our fears, our hopes, our aims

are one, Our comforts and our cares.

We share our mutual woes, Our mutual burdens bear; And often for each other flows The sympathizing tear.

When we asunder part, It gives us keenest pain; But we shall still be joined in heart, And hope to meet again.

God bless you, stay soft, keep your peace.

Yours was indeed a wonderful testimony, Richard, & it truly gladdened our hearts to read of your persistence with reading God's Word and the Holy Spirit's subsequent meeting you at God's appointed time . Stay close to the Lord, read His precious Word often, talk to Him at anytime of the day or night - His Ear is always open to His childrens' voice. The enemy of our souls, the Devil, is also lurking about us to do all manner of evil against us: doubts, fears, discouragement, old sins, etc. Stand against him as Jesus did ( Matthew 4:1-11), using God's Word & the Spirit's Power against him, resist him & he will flee ( James 4:7).

Welcome to God's family - all of us have been purchased by our Saviour's own precious blood, and not by anything we have done or could do ( Titus 3:5). Seek the Spirit's help in reading & understanding the Bible, but we're always around here to support you in the Word & victorious Christian living. Every blessing brother.

Your testimony was wonderful to read. One of perseverance and trust. People need to know that Jesus loves everybody, no matter what state they're in. Welcome to the comment rooms. There's a prayer room too.

:). There's a link to Testimonies; which is a blessing to see how God is touching lives.

Also thank you very much Mishael for your reply. As now I know truly know why I typed my Testimony only say two weeks ago on my computer. To copy and post it here in the Testimony section. God is Perfect and it is truly a gift to receive the Holy Spirit and be "born again". All Glory and praise be to our Eternal Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you all who spent the time to read my post and reply. God Bless you all!
