John 14 has so much warmth and hope in Jesus, the Father and the Comforter reigning while Jesus was in earth himself and after in the believer's earth. Jesus said the Father will send another Comforter. When the believer by love keeps His commandments and sayings, then Jesus will manifest himself to them. Jesus and the Father by love will come unto the believer and abode with them as the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost. Jesus gives us His peace. The Father in Jesus was doing the works, Phillip had a choice to believe now in these works or to believe in Jesus himself for the very work's sake.

Other thoughts: Some day Jesus himself will return for His faithful followers and that hour in that day will be sudden. For God, a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day. Let His peace reign. There is a school song that says, Let his Peace begin with me. (maybe I can find it and put it onto the comments). Repentance and faith in this Work creates a clean heart where the Comforter can reign. Think of all the hearts with this love abiding in steadfast faithfulness and love, little lights in a world that cannot comprehend light.

    *Peace Begins With Me

In a world of darkness Let me be a light; Let me bring the sunshine to drive away the night. In a world of sadness, let my light shine through, Giving hope and comfort in everything I do! And I will shine God's light for every one to see; So we may share in the Joy of peace and unity.

In a world of strangers, Let me be a friend. Let the light of kindness Glow until the end. In a world of hatred, Let my love shine through, Bringing us together, In friendship, me and you! And I will shine God's light for every one to see; So we may share in the joy of peace and unity.

Let God make tomorrow brighter than today, Let the world be better because I passed this way. In a world of questions I have found the key: God can make a difference When peace begins with me!

God can make a difference When peace begins with me! Oh, yes peace begins with me.

    Carleton:

That's probably a great song to listen to. I love the lyrics. Thanks for sharing. It made me think of this song I listen to often, that's similar.

Go on YouTube and listen to 'Peace Prayer' by John Michael Talbot. He's a monk that sings Psalms mostly.

He was a Methodist but he for whatever reason became Catholic. I haven't heard his whole testimony; just pieces.

His brother, Terry Talbot sings a song named: I Saw Him, you have to hear too. It's about the Roman centurion who crucified the Lord. It will make you cry.

Hi Mishael, I have only heard this song sung by our little Christian School nearby. It has been at least three or more years already. Thankfully I asked for a copy at the time. I will when I can look up the song you mentioned and give it a listen!

I feel the Holy Spirit drawing near to our discussion. If we let Him, he will make us more alike.
