The name Jesus: let's go back to when the Messiah was Born, He was to be called Yahsuha this is true because He was Hebrew understand the time we are taking about, the letter "J" did not exist during that time He was a Jew. He came seeking the lost sheep of the house of Israel the 12 lost scattered tribes which is told to us through out the Old Testament. OK Yahsuha Preached from the Old Testament and so did the Apostles you must understand the people the Audience of that time was Hebrew Jews, Samaritans Jews, Latin and Greek speaking people and last but least the Romans, pagan worshipers with their many gods. when Yahsuha was Crucifiy on the stake not the cross Pontius Pilate wrote on the inscription YAHSUHA OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS also the name in Latin and Greek. why Latin and Greek? the Latin and Greek writing didn't spell Yahsuha it spelled lesous and lesus pagan names just as Daniel was given a pagan name while in Babylon captivity. The Most High show us in Scriptures what Satin is doing because he is a deceiver, the father of lies, an angel of light. So Satin takes the name lesus not the Messiah's Birth given name by the Most High GOD because Satin now sees a way that he can be worshiped and become like the Most High, it's what he has wanted all along. So now we have an image that has been set up through the women church called Rome and satin took the name lesus and add the letter "J" 500 hundred years ago and said this will be the worlds savior Jesus with the graven image of the cross which the Most High Commanded us not to make. satin wanted to hide the name that is above all names by which man must be saved. the Bible say's he decieveth the whole world and few their be that find the truth. it's about THE NAME. YAHSUHA means SALVATION Jesus doesn't. the mark of the beast is in your mind to believe a lie that Jesus is the Messiah the Son of GOD and you worship this image of the cross. some people will just not see John told us his name.

To Ronnie on Rev. 13:15. Why are you getting upset over the letter "J"? If you're dissatisfied with the name Jesus, then you have to take issue with every other name in God's Word with the letter "J", such as Jacob, Jesse, Joseph, Joshua, James, John, and others. Even Judas!!! Why would you bother yourself and others with something that bears absolutely NO consequence? I pray God will open your eyes to what is important,
  • Ronnie Franklin - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
    Mr. Rick Colombe

I have just one question for you seeing that this all about uplifting and speaking words of truth and encouragement, and as you have quoted man will give an account for every idle word spoken. When the Messiah ascended back into heaven; what name did the disciples and Paul preach by which man must be saved?
  • Mishael - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
Do a study in the Bible on the word ELECTION or ELECT. You will find all your answers.

Use this websites Search Engine. Makes it much easier.
  • Ronnie Franklin - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
Yes I have. And have you study the word my people, my flock, and lost sheep.
  • Samuel Garcia - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
If you believe that Jesus Christ (Or whatever you call him) is not the Messiah, Then you my friend are set up to accept the false Messiah, Satan. Most Jews rejected Him the first time he came. So they will believe the lie the second time he comes in his glory. tHEY WILL BELIEVE THE FALSE MESSIAH SATAN and make a covenant with him which he will break in the middle of the 7 year period of time spoken of in Daniel. Jehovah's dealing with Isreal in this time of trouble will come to an end in the last half of the seven years.
  • Ronnie Franklin - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
And you Mr. Samuel probably believe that Yahshua laid down his life for you right?

Go through your Bible started and Deuteronomy 28 isolate the word flock and the word lost sheep and follow it all the way to the New Testament, then tell me who the lost sheep is and if you are apart of the lost sheep.
  • Samuel Garcia - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
    Hello Mr. Franklin,

Thank you for your response to my post. I don't just believe that Jesus laid down his life, I KNOW that he did. He did that for all of His creation, so whether you're black, white, Jew, Gentile rich or poor, on and on, the point I'm making is Jesus Christ shed his blood, died, was buried and rose from the dead according to the scripture for whosoever will. John 3:16. I identify with that as I am a whosoever.

Yes, it is clear that jesus Christ was hebrew and as bible believing Christians we have a rich heritage from that lineage, one for example is the passover. The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world who shed his blood for a lowly sinner as I. It is only by His Grace that I am saved and a child of the King! Jesus is all in all, The Savior, Prophet, Priest and King, Lord of all eternity, and that at the NAME of Jesus EVERY tongue will confess and EVERY knee will bow that He is Lord to the Glory of the Father. There is no other name given under heaven whereby we must be saved! Acts 4:12.

What will doing your little exercise prove to you? For me this would just be an exercise in futility, semantic word games with my soul. No thanks I don't need to prove anything.

I leave you with this. If you would simply put your faith and trust in Jesus and accept what he has done for you,, admit that you cannot save yourself, He will save you. You can have a relationship with Almighty Jehovah and live with Him in the world to come. It is yor choice to make. No one can make it for you.

    Good day Sir,

Amen and Amen. The church today is denying that Christ was born that he died and rose again. They deny that he is the son of the most high god ."Son of the most high God" These the words from Satan himself! Your'e pronouncing is a matter of fact. God bless you!
  • Carleton - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
Which church are you speaking of Fred? The Church that I know is the Bride of Christ and she knows the suffering of Jesus and she knows His resurrection and moreover she teaches the way of Salvation by the Word, the unction of the Holy Spirit and by members of her Body living as living witnesses of the testimony of Jesus in their very own lives as peaceable and loving members without hidden sin(s). If a member of Her body does fall into sin then the same member by love will be cutoff for and until restoration by repentance occurs. This same Bride awaits her husband to take her to Heaven when he returns in the air on the last day, first to those who sleep in Christ that have already left this world and then for those Saints who are alive on and in earth at the last day.

The church I speak of is the one Jesus speaks of. Made without hands. You speak nothing of the spirit of Christ? You speak nothing of the forgiveness in his shed blood.Your confession is bases on works , not found in the grace of our lord Jesus Christ.Their is only one who forgives sin, the Christ. The physical church cannot forgive sins, nor those who visit it! Forgiveness is found in the shed blood of the lamb, the one from the foundation of the world!
  • Samuel Garcia - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
There is a false church that is gathering here in the end times. Some say it is a false religious system. It is written in the book of revelation and it is to worship the Beast. As I believe the rapture will occur prior to the tribulation time, the true church, bride of Christ will be taken out of this world and start the judgement seat of Christ and the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Look up for Jesus may come today!
  • Carleton - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
Hi, I agree that a false church and false teachings have reached the forefront of what is called Christianity today. But there remains the True Church Please if you have time describe those whom in practice and in recorded doctrines have taught the rapture. One thing that comes with these teachings is adding on revenge and general resistance to loving one's enemies. This teaching seems to be of the modern age by my understanding.

    To Frank G.

I am prayer partner to The Belasco Family (Missionary to Spain). They are one of over 100 missionaries we support prayerfully and financially all around the world through our missions minded local church. The great commision is still in the book! I believe that by T.V. internet, tracts, the gospel of the good news of Jesus who is the only one that can save a man's soul has been spread around the world.

Consider, if you already are not involved in the battle for the truth of the scripture. satan has waged war right from the start on God and his Word. The KJV has stood the test of time and for now over 400 years is the choice of english speaking people to use, memorize and proclaim he Truth of God and His Christ!

Lord bless you and thank you for your reply! To God's Glory Amen to the soon return of Jesus! Look up for your redemption draweth nigh!

The Hebrew language was a dead language from about 100bc till the 1850's. This new Hebrew language is in no wise like the old language of the Torah. It is a completely different language. Back in Jesus's time everyone understood Greek, and an assortment of other languages, but everyone understood Greek because Greece was the super power before the Romans took over. The Romans spoke Latin and Greek. Any ways that's why all of the new testament was written in Greek. Also, the old testament (Torah) was translated into Greek way before Jesus came. And every synagogue in the known world had a copy of the Torah in Greek in their synagogue. is the Greek word for iesus which became Jesus later in our english. Only the old testament was written in Hebrew. Do research before you fall into the Lies of the new Hebrew movement Heresy. The name "yeshua" was unknown to any Christian for the 1st 1200 years of Christianity... Jesus, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul, Jude and James all called Jesus "Iesuos" (Greek) NOT yeshua in the new Hebrew. In the Heretical book of the Talmad they call Jesus yeshua as an insult and says he's is boiling in eternal excrement according to them. Hebrew was UNKNOWN to any scriptures prior to 1200AD when the very scribes Jesus warned us about introduced this backward written language.. look it up, there were ONLY 2 heretics in the history of Christianity that even pretended to know Hebrew (Origen and Jerome). If God wanted us to called him Yeshua, He would have told someone other than 13th century AD Jews who use the word "yeshua" as a derogatory term in their Talmud.

And the Jesus and the letter "J" is only 400 years old. As the saying is true Satan deceiveth the whole world.

    Revelation 9:20

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

    Malachi 3:16

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

Jeremiah 16:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Reread my comments to understand the conversation. From your questions i can see that you didn't even bother to read past a couple of sentences. Read it all to understand. One more thing i will add.

Your not understanding what they're(Jews) are saying. They're not saying Jesus is called "yeshua" in Hebrew. They're saying Jesus is not the Messiah and he's boiling in excrement, and this other god called "yeshua" is the messiah. They're saying he will come and all Jews will call him the messiah, but He will be the antichrist we've all been warned about. Now do you get what I'm saying?
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
    Hello,

I'm not sure why you bring up the letter J, but I know some people draw false conclusions about it and try to make it mean something else. So, I'll just state for the record that the English language didn't have the letter J in it previously. Language actually changes over time. You can see examples by reading the 1611 KJV and read the actual English which didn't have J. Secondly, languages are different. The USA for example is a different word depending on the language you're speaking. If someone says the name in their own language, it doesn't mean they're lying, but just saying it correctly in their language. Jesus is the translation into English. Sure, you can find other correct names in other langauges and if someone wants to read the original Greek, that's great. But English is the language of the KJV Bible and Jesus is correctly translated. God bless.
  • Ronnie Franklin - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
If Jesus was translated into English then why not just use the name Yahshua? After all it was The writings were taken from Hebrew scrolls and translated into English all the letters in the name Yahshua existed in the English alphabet before the letter J

Not trying to debate because the Bible is of no private interpretation the Scriptures interprets It's self precept upon precept.

The only name you can be saved by is Jesus

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 20: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

ACTS 4: 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Philippians 2: 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
  • Ronnie Franklin - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
The only question I have for you Mr. Randy is this when Paul was met by the Messiah on the road to Damascus and he spoke to him in the Hebrew tongue and told him his name what name did the messiah say? Jesus or Yahshua?
  • Randy - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
PLUS Israel is the people of GOD governed by the Shepherd of Bethlehem ( Matt 2:6 and Micah 5:2).. that's Jesus Christ... not anyone else". Also, there's no W in Hebrew so YHVH whereas the ancient Hebrew Masoretes recorded the name as "YeHowah" or "YeHovah" nearly 7000 times throughout the Hebrew BIble. The form "Yahweh" is a more recent "guess" at the pronunciation, found in The Corruped Catholic Douay Bible. . Scholars have found the Ya, Yah, Yahu names in Babylonian tablets from around 2500BC. Abraham was not born until 1800BC. Israel as a nation did not exist until 1400BC when they came out of Egypt And the Ya, Yah, Yahu name existed before they were even in the world. In 2500BC there was no Greek empire or nation. In 2500BC there was no Persian empire or nation. This leaves us with the Hittite and Egyptian as the only existing kingdoms or nations of people. And, in both the Hittite and Egyptian kingdoms there is a ya, yah, god. The Yah god in Egypt is the moon god.
  • Ronnie Franklin - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
That's the problem with Gentile Christianity you take a Hebrew book that was not even written about you and you twisted. If the Messiah's name was written in three different languages on the stake not cross which is a graven image that most professing Christians wear around their neck or have tattooed on your body. If the name lesus was written why was it not kept in the King James or any other Bible? Messiah was Jewish Hebrew not American Gentile.
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
    Hi Ronnie,

I noticed the same logical fallacy is used rationalize your view of Jesus being the wrong name despite the fallacy already being exposed. Did you read what I wrote? If so, I wonder what part of it you don't understand or disagree with?
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 13:15 - 3 years ago
Hello, I think I just answered that. Yahshua isn't English, just like if your name was John it would not be that in other languages, but Juan in Spanish, etc. Why don't we all just agree on one language, one pronunciation, and one spelling of everything that way we'd all be the same- maybe that is the real grievance. Languages were created and confused at the Tower of Babel. You can call Jesus by his name in other languages, but His name is translated to Jesus in English. Jesus already did have a name in English before J and it was Iesus. That was correct at the time when English was closer to Latin. Link There's a good etymology if you search for 'Jesus 8880'

Ronnie Franklin why do you speak as if you are God.. you call people " my flock, and lost sheep"..you are not God, we are not your sheep.

Also, ..what is the name of the Holy Spirit to you? You are concerning yourself with a worldly name, and not that which is important. Do you think God cares about more about Jesus's name then our complete surrender to Jesus? Do you think that God would cast aside any person with a pure heart for Jesus because he has not called him Yahshua? Look you call satan 'satin'.. and we all know satin is something nice and comfortable, and not at all fitting to call him.

The language of the times has changed, but the meaning and personhood of who Jesus is has not, and that is what is important.
