What I learnt from this verse is that there are some things in our life that we should let go and wipe out of our memory totally.No matter how expensive they seems or how hard we've laboured for them, If sudenly we loose them,we should still praise God and forget about it all, knowing that we are serving Jehovah Jireh (the God that provide) we should move ahead in God new direction. As christians we should trust in God for greater life ahead of us.Lot wife was filled with the thought of what she was loosing in Sodom, so she became a pilar of salt .apart from the fact that salt is use for preservation.we should also know that a salty land is good for nothing,it's a waste land,A salty land can neither be use for farming nor for building,that is to say that anytime we consentrate on what we've lost in our old life we become unproductive in our present life.
