    John 3:3-7

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of our natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13), 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. This is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through the process of Repentance God will reveal Himself to you and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and it is only then that you will learn what it means to be 'Born of God' and 'Born Again'.

Repentance is necessary, true. Don't forget Jesus' words to Nicodemus earlier in this very chapter: "You MUST be born again of the WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT" if you want to claim being "born again". Peter told us how to do that on the day of Pentecost, when he, being filled with the Holy Spirit, addressed the crowd in Acts 2:38. That, my friends, is how one is truly "born again."

These scriptures in John 3:3 are a great comfort to those who are seeking peace with God and man.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

    John 3:4

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

    John 3:5

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

At Calvary, the water poured from his side and intermingled with his blood and washed our sins away by faith in our repentance looking from up from the wilderness to his healing by repentance. The full result is His Spirit entered into our earthly tabernacle and filled us with peace and understanding.

This Peace which is harmless, undefiled, separated from willing sin is God in man and will carry the new man by the guidance of his Holy Spirit to the finish of this earthly race.

??????? eh? Sir, the pasting together of partial Scriptures and concepts in an attempt to create your own Gospel is what Paul warned of in the opening of Galatians... twice. If you want an UNDENIABLE EXPERIENCE with God, and receive the REAL Holy Spirit the way they did in Acts, then OBEY THE GOSPEL that is confirmed by the Apostles in the Book of Acts. Only then will you really see what your relationship with the Lord can be!

If you want Biblical results, do Biblical things in Biblical ways. :) Hope this helps!
  • The Medical Explanation Of Jesus39s Death - In Reply on John 3:16 - 3 years ago
John 19:31-34 So the bodies would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath the Jews asked Pilate that the legs might be broken and that they might be taken away. The soldiers came and broke the legs of the 1st and 3rd prisoners. Jesus was already dead, they did not break his legs. But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, there came out blood and water." Why did blood and water come out of Jesus' side??

Crucifixion typically resulted in death through one of two ways: The first was HYPOVOLEMIC shock. The prolonged rapid heartbeat resulting from hypovolemic shock can cause fluid to gather in the area around the heart. This is called pericardial effusion.

The second way death occurred during crucifixion was due to asphyxiation. The person is unable to breathe in enough oxygen to survive. Crucifixion victims had to pull their weight up with their hands or wrists that were nailed; along with pushing up with the feet or ankles that had another nail through them. Over time, the ability to push up to breathe would end and oxygen flow would be restricted. *This asphyxiation can also result in the buildup of fluid around the heart.

In either case, the account of John is quite accurate. The Romans saw that the other two crucifixion victims were still alive and broke their legs so they would no longer be able to push themselves up to breathe, resulting in death within minutes. Jesus, they saw He had become unconscious and likely was already dead. To confirm, a spear was shoved into His side, likely under His ribs, that ruptured the PERICARDIAL sack, resulting in a flow of both blood and water.

This manner of death was a brutal end for Jesus, there was also prophetic significance to this event. John states in John 19:36-37, "For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled: 'Not one of his bones will be broken. And again another Scripture says, They will look on him whom they have pierced.

    Prophesies: Exodus 12:46. Zechariah 12:10.

Hello David, I have written in this discussion my personal born again experience which can be described literally moment by moment and can be described symbolically as a pattern to how Jesus's work at Calvary and how he fulfilled the law. I wrote my literal born again testimony on this discussion on July 23. I am not sure if it can be pulled up for your reference. As far as obedience, ONLY, as a reasonable service I walk a very close walk as well as my family and brethren in even the smallest matters such as taking harmful financial loss to benefit an upset working relationship or neighborly relationship. What sets ,any people off is not the testimony of how one is born again but how they walk after being born again with their relationships with the world and their testimony of grace and love for every single neighbor no matter that neighbors current condition. The Lord will always make a way of escape of some kind not to take revenge or act violently even in words or thoughts.

A born again believer should be able to completely understand this hymn in their hearts including that fifth wound: Charles Wesley "Arise My Soul Arise" Likewise a born again believer should also be able to understand full the hymn "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross" especially the line in the lyric that says: "Sorrow and love flow mingled down".

Arise my Soul Arise, shake of your guilty fears; The bleeding sacrifice, in my behalf appears; Before the throne my Surety stands, Before the throne my Surety stands. My name is written in His hands.

He ever lives above, for me to intercede; His all redeeming love, His precious blood to plead; His blood atoned for every race, His blood atoned for every race, And sprinkles now the throne of grace.

Five bleeding wounds he bears; received on Calvary; They pour effectual prayers; they strongly plead for me:" Forgive him O forgive," they cry, "Forgive him, O forgive," they cry. "Nor let the ransomed sinner die!"

The Father hears Him pray, His dear anointed One: He cannot turn away the presence of his Son; The Spirit answers to the blood, The Spirit answers to the blood And tells me I am born of God.

My God is reconciled; His pardoning voice I hear; He owns me for a child; I can no longer fear

With confidence I now draw nigh, With confidence I now draw nigh, And "Father, Abba, Father," cry.

I can support the "True" repentance part of this writing.

However part of being born again and certainly part of repentance involves accountability. If someone has become a Child of Light then that light should be known. Repentance takes proving , it takes watching the walk (conversation) it takes course corrections, it takes confessions to the neighbor. All children of light should have a repentance testimony that can be shared as a Light.

    :)
