While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. For by grace are we saved through faith and not of ourselves for it is the gift of God lest any man should boast. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus conquered death and is seated at the right hand of God tonight and is interceding on our behalf. His Holy Spirit is our comforter... our ever-present help and peace when nothing makes sense. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Lord, thank you for your mercy and salvation. Please forgive us and mold us into usable servants for your purpose. Please be with the needs listed here and cause all who read this forum to be reminded of your love for them. Lord, please renew our minds and change our hearts. Thank you for another day of life. Thank you for loving us, forgiving us, sealing us, sustaining us, protecting us, and healing us. Lord, you are faithful and true. Thank you for your Word. Thank you for your son Jesus Christ and your Holy Spirit who encourages and convicts us. Help us to live for you.

Dear Lord,
I humble myself before you and confess my sin. I want to thank you for hearing my prayer and helping me return to you. Lately, I've been wanting things to go my own way. As you know, this hasn't been working out. I see where I've been going the wrong way-my own way. I've been placing my faith and trust in everyone and everything but you.
Dear Father, I return now to you, the Bible, and your Word. I pray for guidance as I listen for your voice. Let me return to what is most important-you. Help my attitude to change so that instead of focusing on others and events to meet my needs, I can turn to you and find the love, purpose, and direction I seek. Help me to seek you first. Let my relationship with you be the most important thing in my life.
Thank you, Jesus, for helping me, loving me, and showing me the way. Thank you for new mercies, for forgiving me. I rededicate myself to you wholly. I surrender my will to your will. I give you back control of my life.
You are the only one who gives freely, with love to anyone who asks.
I ask for the Holy Spirit to come alongside me and teach the Bible to me. I will not allow satan to distract me.
