    1 Corinthians 14:34-36 KJV

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. [35] And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. [36] What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

    The Prophesy

    Joel 2:28

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your SONS and your DAUGHTERS shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

    The Fulfilling of Prophesy

    Acts 2:17

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your SONS and your DAUGHTERS shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

I rest my case. The olden days of people leaning on Paul to keep the women quiet in Church is OVER.

I DARE anyone in here to go on YouTube and watch some prophetic sermons by

    IVERNA THOMPKINS.

Who gave you permission to Riverdance on a Prophesy of God, Almighty and Wonderful GOD ??

We live in 2020. The idea that women are ill equipped to behave in Church is ended. God wants SONS and DAUGHTERS to prophesy: teach the Word of God. We're there already.

I would not want to be a 2020 man, discouraging the Daughters of God to prophesy and teach. God is going to raise them up supernaturally: sons and the daughters! He will step right over our prejudices, and the Word of God will be accomplished. Why not repent: change your mind? Be helpful. Be discerning.

Read the Hebrew, the Greek and get out the history books.

Be refilled and given a fresh anointing by the power of the Holy spirit. Has anyone seriously thought about what a revival of God would look like and hear like?

Maybe the Government has taken our songs away and tried to legislate how many people can get inside a church.....BUT they can't take The Church out of the People!!

Why can't we meet in homes?

Our congressional leaders are turning into the Evil Empire, so we need a plan and quick. If they close the churches; we meet in homes, like the Chinese Christians do.

Are all the prophesies fulfilled? Anybody know that for sure?

Prophets aren't pastors, though. Nowhere in the Bible were women called to be disciples or elders.
  • Patricia Robinson - In Reply on Luke 17:3 - 3 years ago
It's quite disingenuous to partially quote 1 Tim 5: 2 "the elder women as.... the younger women as sisters". It's obvious here elder is referring to seniority in age in comparison to the younger women.

The bible also states that the "elder is a husband with one wife".

Women are and have been prophets, but I do not believe they are supposed to be pastors.

The sad irony is I think that the church actually agrees with me, otherwise it would pay women pastors the same as the men, and I believe it does not....

    Patricia Robinson, WOMEN SHOULDN'T TEACH

If you do not want to teach the word of God and lead other people that know less than you because you believe that the Bible tells you that you shouldn't, that's up to you.

Can you show me where it says that women SHOULD NOT lead or guide others in the word of God?

    What about Priscilla

    Acts 18:26,

"And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

    Romans 16:3

"Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:"

Notice whose name came first this time!

Priscilla is teaching and leading the flock.

Pastor means to "rule" or "tend or "herd" a flock.

Disciple means to "goad" or "teach."

Elder means "honorable" or simply "older" and specifically refers to men AND WOMEN.

1 Timothy 5:2 speaks of the "elder women" of the people.

God has NEVER excluded half of His people from being able to teach others His Message!

I'm not going to debate this. It's like trying to explain that God has an end time plan for Israel. Too hot.

If God needed pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets; would He find anyone available to fill in? Faith?

It calls for people who are flexible; who have studied to show themselves approved; someone who can explain the same things on the 'become a Christian' link on this website.

We've had decades of being shut in with computers, Facebook, twitter; talking to a screen, without actual contact with a live person face-to-face. It was much easier in Jesus's time.

There are many people who come to the prayer request room that need some contact; someone to agree with them, as touching on their needs. It takes a FOLLOW JESUS kind of attitude. I don't see it happening. Check the Thread Links.

I know The book of Joel is prophetic, and God is going to find willing servants. He'll pour out the Holy Spirit upon them. I'm kind of like a watchman: I watch, I pray, intercede, stand in gaps, carry baby lambs, ask questions at times. Beat up on demons often. Sing and praise exceedingly; Whatever God wants, is what I do. See, He reached down in a pit of muck and pulled me out of it; demons scattered. Filled me full of the Holy Spirit. I gotta believe there is many, many more like me out there.

I love my life now! Nothing I ever did with the devil, was as wonderful as sitting at the feet of Jesus. He is Worthy to receive Praise and Worship and Honor.

Can anybody have that? Yes. You'll have to die to carnality and self. Give your life away to Jesus; and take His Life into your being.

Do what He Does. Follow His Leadership.

I'll write a short testimony later. What caused me to do what I do. My phone is flatlining now.

  • A Testimony by Mishael - In Reply on Luke 17:3 - 3 years ago
This is a piece of testimony that I promised. It is meant to show YOU how much Jesus loves YOU and desires you to be in His family. He accepts you now (as is) and has grace and mercy in His heart towards you. Yes! You.

Sometimes we get caught up on all the Thou Shalt nots and the verses that are meant to keep order in the Church; the Body of Christ: we lose sight of the Grace which is always standing right in front of us.

He always desires us to extend that Grace outward to others who do not know of that Grace just yet. The Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ within us (upon salvation), leads us in spiritual growth; taps us on the shoulder when we are veering off the path; leads us into the knowledge of the Holy.

Testimony: I was an astrologer before salvation. If people opposed me, I would imagine them dead; and bury them. I would have nightmares of fields of graves that refused to stay hidden. Fear hath torments.

After my salvation, people who had known me would say to my face, with a chuckle, that anyone as evil as I had been could NOT possibly be saved! My doubts and joy began to ebb away. In anguish I had to prove that I could make Jesus cut me loose and turn on me too. And then I had a dream.

Jesus was nailed to a Cross, which was lying on the ground. He was looking at Me. The self-hate in me rose up and I picked up a rock and began to hit the nails in His hands. Every time I struck Him, He would say "I Love You." I kept on believing He would give up on me. He kept saying, I LOVE YOU. Finally I threw the rock away and collapsed on his chest, and I let love and forgiveness flood my soul. All the self-hate and condemnation was washed away in tears. I woke up. I knew without a doubt that His power to Forgive was stronger than my power to Hate.

I never again hated or received hate. All the dreams were ended. Every day of my new life was lived in His acceptance of me.

You can live your life that way too. Search your hearts and minds.

    Women Preach On!

The Sons of Aaron were the priestly order UNTIL the renting of the veil ( Matthew 27:51)

    Teaching is open to everyone.

    Class is in Session.

    Christ is the Head Master.

Women were prophesying (teaching) and judging (governing / leading) all throughout the Old Testament; Miriam ( Exodus 15:10), Deborah ( Judges 4:4), Huldah ( 2 Kings 22:14), etc

I will admit that men do better at Pastoring as a whole. Women are good intercessors and do very well teaching on prayer, equipping all people who feel that call.

We have to know that our prayers are shaking Heaven and sending demons to the dry, hot places.

We need to pray to the Lord of the Harvest; to send laborers out into the Harvest.
