If you marry, then divorce and then get back together does God look at this as still married

the lord said in the begging divorce didn't exist you left your family for your husband and became one flesh but because of the their time in the land of their captivity and the hardness of their hearts Moses allowed them to divorce but in the new testament the lord say's no more and saving for the cause of fornication ( sex outside of marriage ) which is a sin causes her to commit adultery and if you marry another you can't go back to your first husband it's abomination and the person who marries you commits adultery also, so imagine that scale of continual sin committed in the land by not knowing the law and commandments of god.

but if neither of you have laid ( fornicated ) with someone else you should be alright because people are not suppose to divorce for every thing just fornication

While Peter spoke well, you might consider the more important issue of whether you both are headed to heaven. Otherwise, it was and would still be an unequal union, if one of you are saved and the other isn't.

Any intermediate relationships, between the break and reunion, would be considered adulterous. Knowing where you stand with God is far more important than where you stand with each other. Remember, God loves you and has a resolution to all problems you face. Marriage is a three way relationship, with God being the all important binding. Love is not based on feeling, but commitment. God so loved that he gave, unconditional commitment on the part of God to graciously save people, as revealed in his word. He deserves our love, whereas, we having been sinners never deserve his.

If believer is married to an unbeliever, It is no sin to stay married to the unbeliever. For what knowest thou, That the believer may convert the unbeliever later.

According to the Word of God, God hates divorce hence at some point you may remarry after you have resolved your differences and forgive each other. To answer your question yes God recognises that union.

The answer is always best from God's Law and Matthew 5 verse 32 states....

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________

"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery:and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced shall commit adultery."

    _______________________________________________________________

    And there it is.

In the cold light of dawn.

FORNICATION is the only legitimate case for divorce, before God.
