When we accept Jesus Christ an be bapitized in the name of Jesus Christ is when we are cleansed,

Sin do send us to hell that's the reason why Jesus died for us to cleanse us from sin

You have got it, Walter. 1 John 1:9 teaches that if we do something sinful after salvation that as long as it takes for us to kneel and confess; we are in right standing again.

More good news: every day when we wake up, God's Mercies are new and fresh , every morning. Thank you, Lord!!

So you think that every time we sin ( to look upon another and lust ) you lose your salvation? So how many times does Jesus have to suffer on the cross for you not to lose your salvation? Your faith is what saves you by the grace of God. It isn't baptism or any other work that you can do. It is faith plus nothing.

I was referring to this passage.

1 Corinthians 6. The first part of the chapter refers to Christians going to the law against other Christians.

Here Paul is preaching to a mixed group I believe: Jews, Gentiles, believers

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doth is outside the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Why do you feel you need to approve or disapprove everything someone says? Did Jesus? He taught patiently, used parables so everyone could identify with what he was saying. Quoted the law and then presented what Grace is.

    Mishael
