    After several decades of Bible study, I have discovered two areas where it becomes all but plausible. The rash vow of Jephthah and the scenario of the troubled waters in the NT. The scriptures do not condemn Jephthah but rather exonerate him in Hebrews. Most theologians fail to fully explain the two passages and so I have posed the question to see what you may do with these strange passages. I have some idea but would welcome a second opinion.
