I want peace in my heart. I am so afraid I'll never get it. I'm older now and think about death more. My health is poor and I am 65. I still don't feel peace in my heart. I do have a Bi-polar disorder. My husband thinks that is why I feel the way I do, but wouldn't God give me peace too?

I even am somewhat afraid to read the Bible; fearing that I still will not find what I need. I feel anxious today. Please pray for me, because even though I've had spiritual experiences, ie I truly believed I was saved at age 15. I felt love for everyone and felt clean inside. I don't go to church because I feel awkward around a lot of people. I have gained weight and think my appearance is not all that great.

People look on the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.

You are listening to the Accuser of the Brethren. His other name is Satan. Of course he doesn't want you to go to church or read your Bible. Read Proverbs 31. That is your example of a woman of God.

See an endocrinologist to check for balance in your blood and hormones. Be obedient no matter the discomfort of your body being normalized. Take all your drugs & vitamins in a baggie so they have more info.

A lot of spiritual warfare takes place in the mind. Learn scripture to fight back. Satan tempted Jesus. Jesus said IT IS WRITTEN: thou shalt not Tempt the Lord your God!!

Satan left. Satan studies us to find our weaknesses; intently. Find 10 more scriptures to hurl at him. He'll leave but he'll come back later to see if you were really serious. Be ready. Does the voice ACCUSE? That's him.

It is written: I am fearfully and wonderfully made!

It is written! I have the MIND of CHRIST!

    (Jesus is not bi-polar)

Satans demons have names like: infirmity, insanity, death, unclean, bipolar, pain, doubt....see what I'm saying. Ask The Holy Spirit to give you the names. Write them down.

Say, it is written: I command in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, and by the blood he shed for ME, which cleansed me and paid for my healing: you demon of infirmity go into outer darkness and dry places!

Satan your future is the lake of fire, prepared for you and your evil angels!

Pray for your kids, husband, jobs, safety: whatever Satan tortures your mind with; write it down and command as above.

Get loud. If you have to go sit in the car and do your warfare, so be it.

If a little pain creeps back in...enforce! Pray it again. Satan hates being told his future is hell. He's been there before.

If there's anything in your home looks like an idol or evil: get rid of all of it. Demons use that for entrance. This works. Cling to the Holy Spirit. Forgive everyone till it takes root. Copy This.

Hi Christy, I'd like to share a thought on the last part of your comment too. First, thanks for sharing this- this is not easy to share for some. Secondly, many people deal with social anxiety in social situations so you would not be the only one experiencing that if you go to church. Third, people should not be judging others' appearances and if you feel some may be doing that perhaps you can avoid them. God wants us to fellowship with others and build each other up- that is one of the goals of a church meeting, besides worship and studying His word. Instead of an inward focus, if you think of yourself as a servant with an outward focus and if you attend church to share words of love and encouragement with others to build them up, I think you will feel more comfortable, feel more joy, peace, and love. Think of it as your own assignment working for the Lord and you're showing up to serve. It's a change of mindset. It's not about you or what you look like, it's about showing your love to others. You may have gifts God has blessed you with that can be used to help others. Also, this can be used outside the church too. Maybe doing these acts of love and kindness will make you feel more like you did when you were 15. I hope this is helpful. I took time to share this because I care. May God bless you!

    Hi Christy,

Fear can rob you of peace, but love overcomes fear. 1 John 4:18, John 16:33. So, perhaps a better solution to finding peace instead of worrying about it is to practice loving Jesus, loving others, and loving yourself, then trusting God with bringing peace to your heart. Love can be expressed through a variety of ways and actions. Being a blessing to others can bring joy to your life. Philippians 4:7-13. I think by expressing love you will find peace in your heart. May God bless you!
