    I'm puzzled at Revelation 13

Does this take place after the rapture or before?

And I would like to understand verse 14.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
    Maggie,

I would say that this is after the rapture of the church because I believe in a Pre-Tribulation rapture. The miracles being performed in Verse 14 are being performed by the false prophet in order to deceive those who are on the earth at that time. You have to keep in mind that these people are not saved. They were told not to take the mark of the beast. There were two witnesses warning the people, there were 144,000 Jews who were evangelizing, and there was an angel flying around in mid-heaven for 3-1/2 years warning people not to be deceived into taking the mark. So now they are stuck with a choice, they either heed to the warning to receive Christ and not take the mark, or take the mark, which would forfeit any chance of salvation. But those miracles are definitely going to deceive many at that time. It won't be the church. During this time, I see no mention of the church being on the earth, so I have to believe that we have already been raptured. I'm probably going to be criticized for this belief, but that's my understanding.

You are so right about a pre-trib rapture because after the letters to the churches they are not mentioned anymore.

Thank you for getting back with me. I do have another question if

you dont mind me asking ? Its about this system we are dealing with

now. I know I should focus more on God, but I do need information

about what do I do . When they go to a one world currency system,

hope not for a while yet. What do I do as a child of God myself,

but paying rent checks each month . I live in an apartment complex. I

hear we are not supposed to buy things, ect when this comes to pass?

    Greg,

I believe all this will all take place during this future 7-year period. Again, my belief is that the church will not be here during those 7 years. But, for those people who are here, this is what I understand from Revelation Chapter 13. During the first half of the Tribulation Period, the antichrist and his prophet will be unifying the economic, political, and religious systems of the world.

In fact, he will make a covenant with the nation Israel to rebuild their temple. And they will start sacrificing again in their temple. And then about the mid-point of this 7-year period, the antichrist comes in with the false prophet, and he puts his image in the Holy of holies and demands that everyone worship the image of the beast. I'm telling you this so you can see how all this fits together.

At that time, in order for anyone to participate in the economic, political, and religious system of the world, to buy food, and to participate, you have to worship the image. If you worship the image, then you will get the mark of the beast. And that mark gives you the authority to function in the economic and political system of the world. You cannot get that mark unless you join his religious system, and worship the image. There will be a one-world currency, political, and religious system. No one can participate without the mark. People can take the mark which will allow them to purchase the necessities for a short time. But, those who take the mark will no longer have an opportunity to be saved. If you're saved now, you have nothing to worry about.

It is best to commit your whole heart and soul to Jesus NOW. Accept him as Savior and Lord.

You will be with us when we are Caught Up. The line will be drawn in the sand so-to-speak. You don't want to stay behind at that time!

I know it's confusing with people preaching pre, mid, and post tribulation. Don't listen to it. Be ready before all that!!!!!!

Jesus is not going to suffer His Bride to be TEMPTED.

Don't make plans to go through the tribulation.

The Antichrist will have already have the edict in place to announce a one world money system. All currencies will be changed to one. Only accessible by getting the Mark of the Beast. If any nation is in possession of a nuke (?), those may be launched in retaliation. We don't know how it unfolds.

We only know a False Peace, initiated by Antichrist will be employed for a few years maybe and then He will reveal his true plans for humanity. He will wholesale slaughter anyone who doesn't have his mark. Marked people will be programmed to turn in anyone who doesn't have the mark.

You and anyone else reading this, get ready now. BE BORN AGAIN now! Receive the Holy Spirits baptism now.

The woman is the church and the answer if found in Revelation 12

that is the real future of the church. I know many will argue with me, however IF they want to believe the antichrists

in the middle east are the woman, well that is on them. A remnant of them shall come to the Lord at one point.

Zionism is a secular non-religious movement.

King James Bible Jesus speaks to some of the Jews in John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the JEWS (THE JEWS) round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you."

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand

Hi Jessie , Just a question , If we are already raptured , then why are we still here on earth? There is something I might be missing. Thank you, God bless you.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
    Hello Greg,

Thank you so much for pointing that out. I see where I could have reworded things a little differently. Please allow me to clarify. I believe you might be referring to this: "During this time, I see no mention of the church being on the earth, so I have to believe that we have already been raptured."

When I said "during this time," I was referring to the 7-year tribulation period, with the last 3-1/2 being called the "Great Tribulation." And where I said "I have to believe that we have already been raptured," I meant that we will be raptured prior to the beginning of the 7-year period, not that the church has already been raptured.

Again, thank you for pointing this out. And my apologies if I may have caused confusion.

Hi Jesse I agree with you 100% What we must remember is there is more than one dispensation and for us today we are under Grace. The law has been set aside. After the rapture that calls the Church, The Body of Christ, home then will the dispensation of the law return and then judgment and tribulation upon those who deny Christ. Those of us who have accepted the gift of Salvation through our Lord and Savior have nothing to fear for He has saved us not only from an eternity without him spent in Hell but also from the tribulation yet to come. God Bless!

    Hi Jesse

Thank you for your reply, I hoped it would be after the rapture . The book of Revelation has been on my mind lately in the light of all that's taking place in the world today.

I agree that we are living in some pretty peculiar times right now which we can't help but wonder if we are getting close to the end. We shouldn't let any of this bother us because Christ has clothed us in His righteousness and we are prepared for whatever comes our way. I truly believe that He will remove us before His wrath gets poured out. I find encouragement and comfort from reading Revelation. There are some pretty horrible things listed in Revelation that will come on people when God pours out His wrath. But 1 Thessalonians 5:9 says For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

God hasn't appointed us to be judged, but rather salvation. So he's trying to tell us "Don't let people come in and tell you that you're in the tribulation period and you're going to have to go through this terrible time.

God hasn't appointed us for that. He's appointed us for salvation.

The book of Revelation should bring you comfort, as it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and it shows us that the Lord is going to return, and He will judge the unbelieving world. Also, it is the only book in the bible that promises a blessing on those who read it. Keep in mind John Chapter 14 where Jesus said let not your hearts be troubled. He is preparing a place for us, and He will come for us one day.

Who is the True Church that will be Raptured before the Tribulation?
  • Matthew 26 - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
All the deceased BORN AGAIN believers in Christ Jesus; and then all the living BORN AGAIN believers, will be caught up in the clouds to Jesus to be transformed into our eternal bodies.

This all takes place in the clouds, as it shows His feet do not touch the earth at that time.

We attend the Wedding Feast of the Bridegroom and later the Bema Seat Judgement of believers, to receive crowns for what we did or, did not do on earth. It will be a time of joy, and for some, sorrow.

The Great White Throne Judgment doesn't occur till after 1000 years, when the wicked dead will be judged.

My roommate is a great woman, but she is caught in the hands of the demons from he'll. We have to pray for her now! Before it's to late, because the man,she loves is a demon from hell. We must hurry, before it's too late for her soul.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
    Alice,

The true church is made up of all believers who have been born of God's Spirit. The true church is not an organization or denomination, whether it be Protestant or Catholic. There is only one true church and it is called the body of Christ. All who have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ and been born of His Spirit belong to the true church, His body, and we are the ones who He will come for and He will remove us before He pours out His wrath on an unbelieving world. If you've received Christ, you are part of the true church, His body!
  • Brian D. - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
The True Church is the Universal Church which consists of all people who have been begotten by God's Holy Spirit throughout the world regardless of race, ethnic origins, nationality, or creed.
  • Carleton - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
The True Church continues it's commission, without fear, to teach and be a light and example that the Gospel message is true. The gates of hell will not prevail against her. Stay in the Body, be faithful until the end.

    :)

Thank you all so much for responding about the true body of Christ. I believe the same as you said. My spouse follows another who claimed the church was an actual property.

    Another question please.
  • Chris - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 3 years ago
Alice, we can have a Church building or a Church tent or even a Church meeting under the trees as in some poor village areas, but whenever the Bible speaks of the Church, the word used in Greek is 'ekklesia'. And this word can only mean 'an assembly, a congregation or a whole body of believers' - it's never connected to a building.

Maybe you can explain it in this way to your spouse: we can say 'we are going to Church', i.e. to a building, but that building will contain the 'real' Church = the believers who meet there.
