We are creatures here on earth,subject unto those things outside of the spirit of God who created us! Paul refers this as vanity. With all this we have to do with, can be described as the inner workings of a person in this world. "the kingdom of heaven within us".When we learn the truths of God, there is a transformation that takes place a renewing of the mind and spirit. A transfiguring developed through growth in the gospel message. This love is the love He has towards us in Jesus who calls all people unto himself! Our predestination is given through this saving faith in the knowledge of Him who calls us. Christ , is the way the truth and the life.
