  • T Nelson on Psalms 37 - 4 years ago
I suspect a betrayal is brewing against me on my job. Over the last couple weeks, this suspicion has continuously come to me, but the Lord brought this Psalm to mind, and it gave me peace. He also reminded me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper; therefore, I rest in his love, protection, and peace, and I know that He will cover me and keep me safe from the evildoers and their plans.

I have been having problems in a new department that is hostile. I am the target and I laid awake two nights ago restless and prayed. God led me to Psalm 37 & 38 also! Today, I have peace with the situation know that God is with me through it all. Hang in there!

Jesus said pray for your enemies. I used to pray for mean bosses and co-workers to be Promoted and guess what? Everyone of them was. :D

Yes, I can attest to that. I too have prayed for mean bosses to be removed, and it happened more than once. They were transferred to a different department. God defends the righteous. Let us continue to stand on his word. He will defend His children.

I took the Lord at a His Word...

Pray for your enemies. Bless those who curse you and abuse you.

So I did :D. I asked God to give them a promotion. It works!

That is the Christian thing to do. But sometimes when we are groaning under the stress they put us through, we forget and just want them removed. You wished your enemy the best.
