How are christianity and Islam different?
  • Phillip E Gallegos - In Reply - 4 years ago
The difference is great; Allah and Yah El Shaddai are not the same, Love vs hate, life vs death, choice vs captivity, Islam's paradise and our heaven are totally different, Islam is flesh Christianity is Spirit

    Hi Jeanette

Please see the You Tube channel of Acts17Apologetics David Wood as a great source for anything Islam related.

My understanding is that Islam believes in the Old and New Testament, but doesn't believe Jesus died on the cross- a large departure from scriptures. They don't respect Jesus as God, but just a man. Their prophet is Muhammad, instead of Jesus. Muhammad hated Jews and murdered nearly 1,000 Jews of them, why you see very negative sentiment to Jews today, especially Israel. Muhammad married young pre-pubescent girls to be his wives and Islam today mistreats and oppresses women. Islam made more books to justify their religion like Quran and Hadith, etc. Instead of peace, it's verses talk about getting vengeance which is why there's terrorism. They think they'll be rewarded with 72 virgins.

Satan's great achievement of deception, Lucifer wanted to be God in the beginning, here on earth he is worshiped as the god of Islam. I feel great sorrow for the majority of Muslims who are forced into following such a dictator type of faith.

Actually Muslims are taught the new testament is in error. Jesus was a mere prophet and Muhammad is a greater prophet.
Jews teach Jesus was a false prophet, so at least muslims respect Jesus as a prophet. However Jesus was more than a mere prophet and was the creator of heaven and earth.
