    When the disciples was in the upper room, did the received the holy ghost twice?

    It looks like just once in verse 22.

    While they did receive the Holy Ghost at this point, it was not the infilling of the Holy Ghost as on the Day of Pentecost. This was nothing more than Christ imparting the Holy Spirit for ministry in what they were about to do. NO ONE receives more than one infilling of the Holy Ghost and that is happens at conversion. So while they did receive the Spirit from Christ it was not the infilling as they received in the upper room.
