There are none. The Great Commission gave the disciples instructions as to not receiving pay for there labors. Modern day pastors wanting to live WORLDLY have made it known falsely that we must cheerfully give money or tithes to the church. There would not be nearly so many competeing churches if the pastors fulfilled the truth of the Great Commission.

Thank you Levi, very True. We are Jesus Arms, Hands, Voice and Feet, His Body to Minister to others in this hurting World. We are Chosen and equiped to reach out to them with His Love and to offer His Compassion, Understanding and Kindness so they will no longer be lost but seek Him with all their Heart too. Its not about what we can get but what we can give regardless of the Cost or Time needed.

I say nothing because I believe God will see to me getting everything I need. And also should we charge the church for everything we do? I understand some thing have to be paid for ex. paper, ink, etc. But my labor is free. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, Malachi 3:10

I agree and disagree. Yes some of today's church to appear to be more of a financial gain. But if tithes and offering were not given how would the church sustain. All bills are not exempted. They have to be paid. I don't like to be paid for things I do for my church. My bishop give me something from time to time. They'll ask me how much I charge for this or that? I'll say nothing for my church.

As I said, The Great Commission was given to the disciples. If you are a member of a church and wish to support the church, I suppose that is ok. Jesus's Church was a group of people not a building. I am mennonite of the old order. We meet in homes and therefore fulfill the scripture of meeting with other Christians. Pastors are paid sometimes very much more than the church members.

Gods Work done in His way Never Lacks His Supply He knows what we need and when we need His provision HeTells us not to beg and that He Loves a Cheerful giver and when we ask according to His Will and we will do this when our Focus is Spiritual and not Wordly He hears and answers our Prayers and even gives us our Hearts desires. In my 38 years of Ministry God has always Provided what was needed.
