I really need HELP on this, in the book of JOHN chp3ver13JESUS said and no man hath ascended up to heaven,but he that came down from heaven,even tne Son of man which is in heaven, In Genesis5 24 Elijah got into a chariot of fire and rode off into the sunset in heaven,and 2kings Enoch was no more cause God took him, SO WHAT IS JESUS TELLING US? is the old testament wrong? is there more to it what?

It seems Shane that this Website can't copy the full Scripture it should have shown when clicked on 1John5:7 not Jonn 5:7 and read For there are Three that Bear Record in Heaven, The Father, The Word and The Holy Ghost and these Three are One. We know that Jesus is the Living Word John1 our Spirital Teacher Heb4:12 the KJV dosen't have the word . it . that some other Translations have in error.

Shane this verse is simular to understanding The Godhead or Trinity as we call Them today. It was changed in the 1800 but both mean 3 in One Spiritually 1John5:7 Jesus is saying that only He had Accended bodily into Heaven all others were Spiritually. This is confirmed when Jesus came to Mary in the Garden and to the Disciples later but He was than fully Resurrected in the Flesh too John20:13-31.

It seems you may have not read my question and concerns Jesus being the only one that has ascended into heaven my question is about Enoch and Elijah going into heaven while they were still alive Jesus said that no man has ascended into heaven so what is what is the Old Testament wrong or did Jesus make a wrong statement

Shane just to confirm again Moses Spirit also went to Heaven after he died and was burried Deu34:5-8 and he was than seen later with Jesus Matt17:3 God never contridicts Himself to understand His Truth we need His Wisdom Empowered by The Holy Spirit. Proverbs4:7 - James1:5-8 - 1Corinthians2

No Shane, Jesus is not wrong. He never is, don't ever let anyone tell you that He is. Who brought Enoch into heaven? God did. How about Elisha? God did. Who brought Jesus into heaven? God did. God brought Jesus into heaven, Jesus is God as a man. Elisha and Enoch were brought to heaven by the Grace of God.They did not descend from heaven,Jesus did. Only the one who descended can ascend to heaven.

Hi Shane I did understand both died as they went to Heaven in the Spirit not the flesh their bodies are still in the grave waiting Judgement Day but after Pentecost when we are in Christ Jesus being One with Him Gal3:27-28 we too are fully Resurrected Ph3:21 but we don't come back to Earth in the flesh unless appointed to do so Rev:2:25-29.
