    It's shows not to rebel against your parents. Absalom was filled with wicked ways. David mourned because his son not only rebelled against his parent, but God as well, he wasn't yet saved, he denied God. David wanted him alive there would still be hope for him to repent and turn to God. It is sad to watch children deny God. trust me I know, the guilt it brings to a parent GB
