    Ann you are exactly correct. The love of God is a gift given. His gift to us was his son Jesus who left heavans glory to come down to earth. Who lived a sinless life was crucified and on the third day arose from the grave and is sitting on the right hand of God. He offers forgiveness to everyone who will accept his gift. Repentance toward God for our sins and acceptance of what Christ did for us

    Where in the Gospel which Paul, the Apostle to the (us) gentiles, administered is repentance required

    The Gospel which Christ administered to Israel required repentance but the Apostle Paul preached salvation through faith in this present dispensation

    Dispensation has reference to giving out something, nothing to do with a period of time. Ever hear of a soap DISPENSER it gives out soap. Webster dictionary 1828 DISPENSATION, noun [Latin See Dispense] the word appear 4X in the KJV bible

    Definition: That which is dispensed or bestowed; a system of principles and rites enjoined; as the Mosaic dispensation; the gospel dispensation; including, the former the Levitical law and rites; the latter the scheme of redemption by Christ.

    There are two dispensations 1. Moses and LAW and 2. Christ and Grace. Moses gave us the law from the Lord and Christ gave us the gospel of Grace. There is only one gospel of Christ.

    Paul taught repentance also 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

    Jesus Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works;

    or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place,

    except thou repent.

    Rev 2:16 - Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

    Rev 2:21 - And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

    Rev 3:19 - As many as I [Jesus] love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

    Very important doctrine
