I can't accept man's opinion that this world was made thousands or billions of years. One day is like a thousand years doesn't apply this chapter. God says six days.

In the hebrew text, the word which was translated into English as 'day' can also be translated as 'eon'. Also, a day on Earth is twenty four hours. The Earth takes twenty four hours to rotate, the Sun takes 25 days to rotate, the Milky Way Galaxy takes 225-250 million years to rotate. Before the Earth was created, why would a day refer to twenty four hours?

Since there was no death before sin, Romans 5:12, how long God took to get to the Garden of Eden is not the problem. According to the bible, life began 6000 years ago. God said it took six days, so I believe it took six days.
