    God made mankind Gen 1 vs 27 God made Adam 2 vs 7 and Eve vs 22. Is it possible theses are two separate events?

    More modern translations of Bible use the word "Man" instead of "Adam" because Hebrew word used in the original text means "man" but is preserved as the Hebrew word " ha' Adam." Similarly, "Eve" in Hebrew meant something along the lines of "source of life," so doesn't necessarily denote one person named Eve, but may be a metaphor for "females." Could have been more than two people.
