Easter is a pagan day, Ishtar, which has crept into the Christian church. concerning the scripture in ch 12 here, the confusion is between the Passover and the days of Unleavened Bread, we need to note that passover was before the days of unleavened bread, and Herod was waiting to bring Peter out after the days of unleavened bread or pascha-which may have been easter.

Hence the name came to be given to the festival "of the Resurrection of Christ, which occured at the time of the" Passover.
