My friend thinks that it is wrong to make animals suffer. She will not even take medicine if it has gelatin on the outside of the capsule. I know she thinks that the sacrifice of animals in the temple to cover sin until Jesus shed His blood to pay the price for our sins is cruel and wrong, so I think that is why she cannot accept the gospel of salvation by faith in the blood of Jesus. what to do?
We don't practice sacrificial offerings to God because the idea is as barbaric as throwing children into a volcano for God. We don't do many such old customs because today we know better. But by what right does any person have to use an animal or make them suffer? My compassion for someone is not limited by my estimate of their intelligence.
No sacrifices today because there is no standing temple. Neither a Levitical priest hood sanctified for sacrifices. Though we DO have the One True Elohim and Mashiach who has delivered us by His blood. In His Word it does tell of a future time that sacrifices will be offered AND accepted by our Father. So how this fits in the end times I am not certain. Our bodies today are a living temple to HIM
