IN PSALMS 83:18 WE FIND OUT THE NAME THAT THE AUTHOR OF THE PSALM GIVES TO GOD WHICH IS "JEHOVAH". WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES GOD REVEAL THAT TO THE AUTHOR? IF THE AUTHOR CALLED ME "JEHOVAH",MY NAME WOULD STILL BE "WILL". TO FIND OUT THE NAME OF GOD, WE SHOULD GO SOMEWHERE IN THE BIBLE WHERE GOD SAYS WHAT HIS NAME IS. GOD KNOWS HIS OWN NAME. TRY READING EXODUS 3:14 TO FIND OUT.

In telling Moses to tell the Israelites that 'I am' sent you, God was saying that He really did exist and although He had not yet revealed Himself to be the God of Israel in an absolutely certain way, He would by means of the 10 plagues and the destruction of the Egyptian army in The Red Sea. And aside from latter, the nation would have understood Moses in exactly this way.
