    Before Babel there was 1 language which men and God knew. Speaking in tongues may be a gift that allows one's spirit to speak that language. I have studied languages. When I speak in tongues, I recognize certain words are repeated as in a valid language. I've heard the exact words are used in other non-English speaking nations who speak in tongues. After all, God confused our languages, not His.
